READ 101 is an English library program that offers an immersive learning experience where students, through the constant exposure to an English-only environment, acquire the skills necessary for proficiency in English.
This also provides an opportunity for students to discover the joy of reading from an early age that will last their lifetime. It calls for them to read critically, and enrich their understanding of books. It teaches the fundamentals of reading that will serve as a solid foundation for their academic success. In other words, it is reading redesigned.
READ101 Programs
In order to find books best suited to each student’s individual needs, incoming students are assessed through a comprehensive level test evaluating their English ability. Once accepted into the program, students will read acclaimed and enlightening works of English literature or non-fiction with corresponding audio CDs.
